About the role

We are looking for an experienced software developer to act as a lead developer for the Ikius team. In this role, you'll act as the project leader for various web development projects developing next-generation websites, web apps, and services at our customers' requests. You are preferably at a senior level in web development and have a good holistic understanding of the industry.

Beyond that, you have the soft skills required for the job, meaning you feel comfortable leading your project team, are customer-oriented, and are in charge of making critical technical decisions.

This is a full-time role. Work 100% remotely or hybrid at our main office in Turku, Finland. Depending on your experience, the salary ranges from 3500-5000€/month.

Our expectations

• Strong experience with React-based frameworks such as Next.js, headless CMS implementation, and creating composable systems: you master the general tools and practices of the industry.

• You're preferably at a senior level as a software developer

• A University degree in a relevant field is desirable

• Having soft skills that enable you to lead your team, lead the customer, and have good decision-making skills: You'll be the project manager of web development projects

• The skill to see the "big picture" of web development and its functions.

• You handle both Finnish and English well in written and verbal form.
