About the role

Hybrid | Full-time | Remote | Finland (Turku)

In this role, you'll focus primarily on developing high-quality WordPress projects and developing, managing, and customizing sites to meet customer needs. Your main responsibility will be to work on WordPress development while occasionally contributing to custom web apps and headless CMS implementations as required. Therefore experience with React-based frameworks such as Next.js and React.js is desired if it happens that there wouldn't be WordPress projects at the moment.

With 2-3 years of experience in the industry, you should be able to work independently on customer projects with a customer-oriented mindset, guiding the technical direction as needed. A proactive mindset towards work and customer projects is desired. Our customers are mainly located in the United States and around Europe.

In general, you’re familiar with general web development tools and practices in modern web development.

This is a full-time role, and you may work 100% remotely or in a hybrid model at our main office in Turku, Finland

Depending on your experience, the salary ranges from 3000-4000 €/month.

Our expectations
For this position, we hope you have:

• Strong experience in WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and general site management
• Experience with React-based frameworks such as Next.js, headless CMS implementation, and composable systems
• 2-3 years of experience as a software developer
• Technical decision-making skills to guide the technical direction of customer projects
• The ability to work independently or in a team
• A university degree in a relevant field is desirable but not mandatory
• Proficiency in both Finnish and English, in written and verbal form
• Proficiency in the Swedish language is a plus, but not mandatory
